It has a very fruity nose, with lovely notes of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, and a hint of blackberry. This fruity bouquet is present again on the palate, making this Auxey-Duresses a superbly balanced, delicious, and smooth wine.\nHarvested by hand, sorting in the vineyard and on a vibrating table in the cellar. Vinification: total destemming, a few days of cold maceration, pumping over but very little punching down. Pressing, 12 months of barrel aging with 20% new oak. After a year, the barrels are racked for blending in vats before bottling.
